  1. Good to learn. Stimulating insights.

  2. Bravo! Bravo!

I can see Sir John Gielgud reciting lines such as these.

  3. My poet friend, I certainly hope you seldom experience the blows!, but get plenty of the joys. Most engaging read (and I like the gothic capital).

    • This sailor has been enjoying fair winds for many years now RT and can happily cite past storms for the benefit of cadets still before the mast. Your generous and encouraging wind in these sails is ever appreciated.

The WordPress editor didn’t like the embellished ‘W’ as you did, which is why I had to render an image of the piece. Don’t try this at home!

  4. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!! :) :)

  5. Very nice – I particularly like: ‘these few hints were not learned lightly, some near claimed me, more did worse’

    • You have judiciously selected the line that validates this piece M.B. – only those who have experienced something should give advice on it. Many thanks indeed.

  6. I probably don’t say it as often as I should but your blog is very special to me and I’ve nominated you for 3 awards. Yes. Three. http://wp.me/sQUCq-rewarded . Much love!

Pure gold, Mike! (Did you intend “wrote” in the fourth line from the end?)

    Warm Respect,

  8. I love this Mike! Bravo dear poet ;-)
